Advanced Dressings & Collagen Applications

The right dressing can be the difference between a wound that heals and a wound that lingers for months. Modern wound care has moved well beyond simple gauze — today's advanced dressings are engineered to maintain the ideal moisture balance, manage drainage, fight bacteria, and actively support the body's healing process.

At Emet Mobile Wound Care, we select and apply the dressing that matches your specific wound type, drainage level, and stage of healing — and we adjust the plan as the wound changes.

Why It Matters

The right dressing can be the difference between healing and lingering

Modern wound care has moved well beyond simple gauze. Today's advanced dressings are engineered to maintain the ideal moisture balance, manage drainage, fight bacteria, and actively support the body's healing process.

For shallow, low-drainage wounds and surgical sites.

Collagen Dressings

Collagen is the protein your body uses to build new tissue. In chronic wounds, the natural collagen in the wound bed gets broken down by enzymes faster than the body can replace it — which is one reason these wounds stop healing. Collagen dressings supply additional collagen directly to the wound, helping to rebuild the structural framework that new skin needs to grow.

Collagen products are particularly useful for:

  • Stalled or chronic wounds with healthy granulation tissue
  • Pressure injuries in the proliferative phase of healing
  • Partial-thickness wounds that need a boost
  • Diabetic foot ulcers
  • Venous leg ulcers
